Writing

You wrote a card in which the stimulus was "it was really well written."

Now the pertinent question is, did the message get through?

Would writing well but failed in conveying the message across possible? Or is it mutually exclusive?

I wonder. Tell you what. I think I should just go and sleep and forget about it.
