Rhetoric Question

Why do people who vote for the incumbents, start crying out about the GST hike to 7%?

Firstly its funny because it makes them look stupid, literally. Then it get offsets by melancholy because farts like me who thought otherwise along with every other dumbos feel the brunt of it at the recieving end.

And please stop comparing our low taxes as compared to other countries. They have a much higher wage to offset the huge taxes, they have minimum wage laws. Land, cars are cheap and they have unemployment benefits plus a huge natural resource to toy with, not to mention their very own domestic production.

Singapore is just different, way different.

18 days to my result.

Gee, im hoping I didnt fuck it up. I dont know why I feel so empty these days, its like I didnt feel like working or studying.

Haha Iggy told me, his IJ mates said Im cold/dao. Its just that its really not appropriate for me sometimes, and that i have unstated rules to adhere to. I wish i really could say hi more often.

And prisonbreak is really good so much so that im downloading the season one HDTV rips. I know im wols but yeah whatever. And starfark is like some bitch; doing traffic shaping on my bitorrent downloads. Im averaging 15kb/s and for that 7GB worth of shows, it translates to nearly a week of continuous download, provided its constant! And hell no its not because its sooo god damn erratic!

This week shouldnt be so boring. Im meeting Elsa for ikea, Pang for his vanessa, Marc for shopping and Maha tells me, "Babe, saturday JJs dei!". HAHA

And Liverpool can go fly kite da, kanna walloped 3-0 away by Arsenal. LOL. When I saw 1-0 nil up to Arsenal, I smsed Ariff, "Livepool ha base alrdy da, dont waste time watching alrdy la".
He should have followed my advice, because he was telling me it was too early to conclude. If only I was so zhun with soccer punting huh.

Feer published what I would say a very good article on Meritocracy in Singapore. 100% emphasis on meritocracy is never a good thing, albeit inevitable but the degree should be moderated for the greater good. Meritocracy 'poisons' the society and it doesnt help with the impending divide between foreigners and locals especially with the go-ahead of more second rated foreign talents. The signs are not so obvious in primary/secondary but come tertiary/university level, the signs are very astonishing.

Moral of the story? Dont fuck with Far Eastern Economic Review, they certainly did their homework. Wah GST up 7%! In time to come, my meal in fancy restaurant is nearly equilevant to the tax. Thanks to the dumb fucks who voted in p@ppies once again. :(

Crooked women

"Women have a wonderful instinct about things. They can discover everything except the obvious."

I enjoy looking at that sultry expression of yours. You remind me of a wilful someone. The way you walk, especially your demeanor kind of cracks me up. I wish I could say hi often and get to know you better but I just cant for various reasons.
